Zhanjiang deputies' views on Govt Work Report

"After hearing the Government Work Report, I think Zhanjiang will gain a lot of development in the upcoming five years because the report emphasizes the pivot city construction of Zhanjiang for the Belt and Road Initiative. Zhanjiang's geographic features are suitable for the development of marine economy and with the guidance of national maritime strategic plans, Zhanjiang will develop its marine economy in a better way."

"I noticed that the Government Work Report mentioned the safety of drinking water in rural areas and I hope more investment can be made in these areas to ensure safety. Wuchuan county and Wuyang township in Zhanjiang have taken coordinated measures to solve the problem. So far, tens of thousands of people have been given access to safe drinking water in these areas and I think these measures can be spread even wider."
