US whistleblower Edward Snowden said the US government had been hacking into computers in Hong Kong and on the Chinese mainland for years.

美國(guó)告密者愛德華?斯諾登表示，美國(guó)政府已入侵香港和中國(guó)大陸的電腦系統(tǒng)多年。

Whistleblower指“告發(fā)者，告密者”，也就是向公眾或政府部門揭發(fā)非法活動(dòng)（illegal activities）或不當(dāng)行為（misconduct）的人，“檢舉、告發(fā)某人”就是blow the whistle on somebody，如：The government is encouraging people to blow the whistle on corruption. （政府鼓勵(lì)人民舉報(bào)貪污。）。前兩年，我國(guó)監(jiān)察機(jī)關(guān)提議的“實(shí)名舉報(bào)”就是real-name whistleblowing。

斯諾登稱，美國(guó)國(guó)家安全局（National Security Agency, NSA）在全球進(jìn)行超過61000個(gè)入侵電腦行動(dòng)（hacking operations）。
