會展登記（2）

不是所有的時候事情都能進行的很順利的，比如這次梅和托尼來登記會展……
(CA =Conference Assistant, T = Tony, M = May)
M: Good morning. Er, we've come to register for the conference. I'm May
Hunter and this is my colleague, Tony Marshall.
M：早上好。我們是來參加展會的，想登記一下。我是梅o亨特，這是我同事托尼o馬歇爾。
CA: Can you wait please? The queue is over there.
CA：稍等一下好嗎？隊在那邊。
M: Well, we've been queuing for half an hour already, actually.
M：其實我們已經排了半個小時了。
CA: What's the name of your company?
CA：請問貴公司的名稱？
M: 'Comfort Tours'.
M：舒適旅行。
CA: I'm afraid I can't find any registration papers for that name. Could you
please fill out some more, and then I can register you.
CA：登記單上沒有這個公司。你能再填一份嗎？然后我再幫你們登記。
T: What a pain! Can't you tell us the number of our stand? Where is it
exactly?
T：太折磨了！你不能告訴我們展位的號碼嗎？具體位置在哪？
CA: I can give you number 56, sir. You can see it on the plan. It's the small
one at the back near the toilets. Here are your badges and here is your
conference pack. Thank you.
CA：可以，先生。你們是56號，平面圖上有。是后面廁所附近的一個小展位。這是你們的會徽和資料袋。謝謝。
M: But that's a terrible position! Can't we get a better stand?
M：那位置太差了，我們能不能換個好點的？
CA: I'm afraid you'll have to speak to the conference manager about that
madam. He's over there.
CA：那你需要跟會展經理協商，他在那邊。
T: Come on May, let's sort this out.
T：來吧，梅，我們把它搞定。
CM: Can I help you? I'm John Smyth, the conference manager.
CM：需要幫忙嗎？我叫約翰o史密斯，是會展經理。
T: Hello. I'm afraid we are not happy at all with our stand. It is too small,
too far from everywhere and near the toilets. We requested a medium-sized stand
near the entrance. Can't you find somewhere better for us?
T：你好。我們對我們的展位不是很滿意，展位太小了，離其他地方很遠，而且還在廁所旁邊。我們想要一個中等大小的、靠近門口的展位。能幫我們找個好點的嗎？
CM: I'm afraid all stands are already taken, sir, it's not possible to change
now. Your booking was probably late.
CM：先生，所有的展位都已經有人了，現在沒法換了。你們可能預定得晚了點。
M: Well, we're very unhappy with this. I'm sure our boss will have something
to say about it too.
M：我們對此不滿意。我們老板肯定也有意見。
T: And look at those boxes, there should be many more than that. Half of our
brochures are missing! And these two boxes are damaged as well!
T：看看這些盒子，應該比這些多才對。我們的宣傳冊有一半都不見了，這兩個盒子還壞了。
M: What a disaster. We'll have to phone head office tomorrow to tell them
what is going on. They'll be furious!
M：簡直是災難啊！我們明天得給總部打電話，告訴他們這的情況。他們會氣瘋的。
