Chinese language learning best practices shared at London event

A symposium on the international curriculum for Chinese language education and postgraduate studies was held in London on March 28 and 29, bringing together nearly 30 experts from China and Europe.
The second such event, which was organized by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation UK, focused on topics including Chinese linguistics and textbooks, Chinese teaching in the era of artificial intelligence, and China-West collaboration in postgraduate Chinese language education.
Attendees discussed how Chinese language education is thriving, and has progressed well beyond its earlier stages. However, they also noted that this growth brings new challenges, such as evolving goals, concepts, standards, content, and formats, which must all keep pace with the times.
