The Ministry of Commerce leaders recently held meetings with global executives from over 20 multinationals and welcomed them to continuously invest in China, the ministry said on Thursday.

The leaders had meetings with executives from companies such as Apple, Eli Lilly, Qualcomm, Mercedes Benz, Airbus, and Cargill. They held in-depth exchanges on topics such as enterprise development in China and expanding investment in the country.

"These multinationals from sectors such as electronic information, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, automobiles, aviation, and food all believe that China's super-large market, complete production and supply chain systems, and technological innovation capabilities boast huge opportunities. Investing in China is like walking alongside the opportunities," said He Yadong, a spokesman for the ministry, during a news conference in Beijing.

During the meetings, the leaders of the ministry said China's economy has continued its steady growth this year, and China has become a hot spot for global innovation and development, demonstrating strong resilience and vitality.

Facing the complex and ever-changing international situation, China will take its certainty of high-level opening-up to cope with the uncertainty of the external environment and continue to create a market-oriented and first-class business environment, the ministry said.

"We welcome multinationals to continue to invest in China and share the development dividend emerging from the Chinese path to modernization. Next, the ministry will continue to maintain regular communication and exchanges with enterprises from various countries," He said.

Many multinationals said they are bullish on China's economic growth prospect and market potential. China's stability and certainty has provided vast room for the growth of enterprises. They are willing to expand investment in China, strengthen cooperation in innovation, and provide more high-quality products and services to China and the world, according to the ministry.
