Jinan illuminates for Lantern Festival celebration

Jinan, capital of Shandong province, is illuminated with vibrant and colorful lantern displays in celebration of Lantern Festival. The Lantern Festival or Yuanxiao Festival falls on the 15th day of the first month of Chinese calendar, which is Feb 12 this year. Its arrival also marks the end of Spring Festival celebrations.
