Tourists visit Harbin Ice and Snow World, one of China's most captivating winter destinations, on Dec 17, 2023, during a test run for its 25th season. The 810,000-square-meter theme park, in Harbin, Heilongjiang province, boasts more than 1,000 ice and snow sculptures and artistic installations. The park, which officially opened to the public on Dec 18 for its 25th season, has turned the spotlight on regional culture and the Harbin Asian Winter Games, which will be held in the city in 2025.
