Peter Stanleigh of Canada has been devoted to public service in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, since he arrived in 2001.
By volunteering at his local English corner each week, he said, "I'm building a bridge that's connecting thought, that's getting people to understand that we might look different, but we're all the same."
